I live in Columbus, Ohio, with a medium-sized dog who takes me for walks and keeps my backyard clear of squirrels, a ten-year-old cat who worships his person (no, not me)...
...and as luck would have it, two new additions: a stray mama cat had four kittens in my neighbor's winter cat shelter – they moved into my spare room on their birthday. Then one of her chaotic kittens decided she wanted to stay here instead of finding a home.
Mama is kitten-proof now and much much happier... and chaotic kitten is sometimes asleep and unable to steal my knitting.
